An additional audio driver is required to capture desktop audio on macOS. The two options available to capture system audio are and Loopback ($119 one-time purchase, with a free trial) and Blackhole (free). Whilst Loopback is a paid option, it does provide finer control over how system your audio is captured, routed and monitored and is what we recommend for best performance.
