Watermarking Streams

For added security, you can add watermarks to your stream in LBS. You can enter your own text to be used as a watermark, or you can import an image file (for example, a .png file with transparency preserved) to be used as a watermark. The watermark opacity can also be adjusted.

Text input watermark

View steps
  • Click the + icon at the bottom of the sources panel and select Text (FreeType 2)
  • On the pop-up window, make sure 'create new' is selected and click OK.
  • Enter your text in the Text field.
  • Adjust the colour of the text if required.
  • Click OK.
  • Resize and reposition the watermark as required.

Image file watermark

View steps
  • Click the + icon at the bottom of the sources panel and select Image
  • On the pop-up window, make sure 'create new' is selected and click OK.
  • Click Browse and select the image file you would like to use.
  • Click OK.
  • Resize and reposition the watermark as required.

Adjusting the watermark opacity

View steps
  • Right-click the watermark source in the sources panel and select Filters from the dropdown menu.
  • Click the + icon at the bottom left of the pop-up window and select Color Correction from the dropdown menu.
  • Click OK on the pop-up window.
  • Click and drag the opacity slider to reduce the opacity of the watermark.
  • Click Close.
