Add video source

In the Sources panel in LDE:

  1. Click the + button and select Video Capture Device from the dropdown
  2. In the Device dropdown, select your USB capture device
  3. Select the desired settings from the Preset dropdown (the highest resolution preset is usually at the bottom of the dropdown menu and is called 'Highest')
  4. Ensure Use Buffering is unchecked
  5. Click OK

The first time you run LDE on macOS you may be prompted to grant LDE access to your webcam or video device. Grant the required permissions when prompted.
