📄️ Resize and center video source
The video preview window in LBS is called the canvas. The canvas shows the video sources that have been added in in the sources panel. Video sources can be resized, cropped or rotated as required.
📄️ Updating Stream Keys
The details entered in the Stream panel of LBS determine to which room your stream will be sent. You will need to change stream keys in LBS if you want to stream to a different room to the one you originally configured LBS for. For example, if you have upgraded to a paid plan or have been given a Pro room as a trial, you will need to enter the stream keys of your new room in LBS.
📄️ Changing Streaming Protocols
In certain situations, you may need to change the streaming protocol used to send a stream to your room. For example, if you are on an unstable network connection or in a location that is very far away from Louper servers, it would be worth using the SRT streaming protocol instead of RTMP.
📄️ Scenes & Sources
In LBS, sources refers to the individual video and audio sources that constitute your stream.
📄️ Watermarking Streams
For added security, you can add watermarks to your stream in LBS. You can enter your own text to be used as a watermark, or you can import an image file (for example, a .png file with transparency preserved) to be used as a watermark. The watermark opacity can also be adjusted.
📄️ Audio Mixer
The audio mixer can be used to quickly adjust, mute and unmute the output volume of audio sources. The adjustments take effect immediately and can be made whilst streaming.
📄️ Audio Offset
In very rare circumstances, you may need to offset the audio from the video in your stream. This may be because the video you are streaming is coming from a different source to the audio, for example if you are streaming the video from a breakout box but the audio from your desktop.
📄️ Conversion LUT
This is not necessarily a cut and dry solution. Due to the many variables in color pipelines, we always recommend that users test out their workflows and ensure that it suits their specific requirements.
📄️ Profiles
A profile contains your stream settings and stream keys. You can create multiple profiles containing different stream keys and video, audio and bitrate settings within each profile. This allows you to quickly switch profiles and stream to a different room without having to manually change stream keys.
📄️ Keyboard Shortcuts
Using keyboard shortcuts allows you to quickly edit and arrange sources in the canvas. The following shortcuts can be used whilst a source is selected:
