Watermarking streams
For added security, you can add watermarks to your stream in LDE. You can enter your own text to be used as a watermark, or you can import an image file (for example, a .png file with transparency preserved) to be used as a watermark. The watermark opacity can also be adjusted.
Text input watermark
View steps
- Click the
+
button at the bottom of the sources panel and selectText (FreeType 2)
- On the pop-up window, make sure 'create new' is selected and click OK.
- Enter your text in the Text field.
- Adjust the colour of the text if required.
- Click OK.
- Resize and reposition the watermark as required.
Image file watermark
View steps
- Click the
+
button at the bottom of the sources panel and selectImage
- On the pop-up window, make sure 'create new' is selected and click OK.
- Click Browse and select the image file you would like to use.
- Click OK.
- Resize and reposition the watermark as required.
Adjusting the watermark opacity
View steps
- Right-click the watermark source in the sources panel and select
Filters
from the dropdown menu. - Click the
+
button at the bottom left of the pop-up window and selectColor Correction
from the dropdown menu. - Click OK on the pop-up window.
- Click and drag the opacity slider to reduce the opacity of the watermark.
- Click Close.
