Updating Stream Keys

The details entered in the Stream panel of LDE (or Louper Transmit) determine to which room your stream will be sent. You will need to change stream keys in LDE if you want to stream to a different room to the one you originally configured LDE for. For example, if you have upgraded to a paid plan or have been given a Studio room as a trial, you will need to enter the stream keys of your new room in LDE.

You must stop any active streams in LDE (or Louper Transmit) before you can update stream keys.

  1. In your dashboard at app.louper.io, click the ”key” icon on your Room tile to copy your Room’s stream key
  2. If your Room has more than one stream, a Stream Key modal will open. You can copy the stream key for the stream you’d like to use.
  3. In LDE, click Stream Key and paste the stream key you just copied, then click OK
  4. Click Start Streaming and the stream will be sent to your room.

For more options:

  1. In your dashboard at app.louper.io, click the More button (three vertical dots) on your Room tile and select Stream keys
  2. Ensure LDE is selected as the stream key format and copy the stream key
  3. In LDE, click Stream Key and paste the stream key you just copied, then click OK
  4. Click Start Streaming and the stream will be sent to your room.
