Updating stream keys

The details entered in the Stream panel of LDE determine to which room your stream will be sent. You will need to change stream keys in LDE if you want to stream to a different room to the one you originally configured LDE for. For example, if you have upgraded to a paid plan or have been given a Pro room as a trial, you will need to enter the stream keys of your new room in LDE.

Note that you must stop any active streams in LDE before you can update stream keys.

LDE v2 or later

1. In your dashboard at app.louper.io, click the More button (three vertical dots) and select Stream keys
2. Ensure LDE is selected as the stream key format and copy the stream key
3. In LDE, click Stream Key and paste the stream key you just copied, then click OK
4. Click Start Streaming and the stream will be sent to your room.

LDE v1

1. In your dashboard at app.louper.io, click the More button (three vertical dots) and select Stream keys
2. In the Stream keys dialog, check what your streaming protocol is set to - it will either be RTMP or SRT
3. In the Stream panel of LDE (to the left of the Bitrate dock), ensure that the Protocol dropdown matches the protocol checked in the previous step
4. In LDE, delete any existing text in the Sever URL and Stream Key fields
5. From the Stream keys dialog shown at app.louper.io, copy the Server URL and paste it into the Server URL field of LDE
6. From the Stream keys dialog shown at app.louper.io, copy the Stream Key into the Stream Key field of LDE. Note that if you have selected SRT as the streaming protocol, you will not need to enter a Stream Key - only a Server URL.
7. In LDE, click Start Streaming and the stream will be sent to your room.
