Uninstallation

If you have downloaded any Louper Apps, such as LDE, LBS, Louper Transmit or Louper StreamConnect, you can uninstall them from your system by following the steps below.

Uninstall LDE (or LBS)

macOS

To remove LDE or LBS, follow these steps:

1. Remove Application

   • Delete the app from your Applications folder

2. Remove User Configuration

   • Open Finder
   • Press Command+Shift+G
   • Enter path: ~/Library/Application Support/Louper
   • Press Enter / Return
   • Delete the "LDE" (or "LBS") folder

3. Remove System Configuration

   • Open Finder
   • Press Command+Shift+G
   • Enter path: /Library/Application Support/Louper
   • Press Enter / Return
   • Delete the "NDI5" (or "NDI") folder

caution

Removing these folders/files may affect the performance of Louper Transmit, please do not remove these items if you still intend to stream using Louper Transmit.

Windows

To remove LDE or LBS:

1. Navigate to Control Panel › Programs › Uninstall a program
2. Select LDE or LBS from the list and click "Uninstall"

Uninstall Louper Transmit for Premiere Pro

macOS

To remove Louper Transmit, follow these steps:

1. Remove Adobe Extension

   • Open Finder
   • Press Command+Shift+G
   • Enter path: /Library/Application Support/Adobe/CEP/extensions/
   • Press Enter / Return
   • Delete the folder named "Louper Premiere Pro Panel"

2. Remove Adobe Plugin

   • Open Finder
   • Press Command+Shift+G
   • Enter path: /Library/Application Support/Adobe/Common/Plug-ins/7.0/MediaCore/
   • Press Enter / Return
   • Delete the file named "Louper.bundle"

3. Remove Plugin Configuration

   • Open Finder
   • Press Command+Shift+G
   • Enter path: ~/Library/Application Support/Louper/Plugins/
   • Press Enter / Return
   • Delete the folder named "Premiere Pro"

4. Remove Framework

   • Open Finder
   • Press Command+Shift+G
   • Enter path: /Library/Application Support/Louper
   • Press Enter / Return
   • Delete the file named "GStreamer.framework"

caution

Removing these folders/files may affect the performance of any other Louper apps or plugins you have installed, please do not remove these items if you still intend to use other Louper apps.

Windows

To remove Louper Transmit from your system:

1. Navigate to Control Panel › Programs › Uninstall a program
2. Select Louper Transmit from the list and click "Uninstall"

Uninstall Louper Transmit for Avid Media Composer

macOS

To remove Louper Transmit, follow these steps:

1. Remove Avid Panel
   • Open Finder
   • Press Command+Shift+G
   • Enter path: /Library/Application Support/Avid/PanelSDKPlugins
   • Press  Enter / Return
   • Delete the folder named "Louper.avpi"
2. Remove Avid Plugin
   • Open Finder
   • Press Command+Shift+G
   • Enter path: /Library/Application Support/Avid/AVX2_Plug-ins/
   • Press  Enter / Return
   • Delete the file named "OpenIO_Louper.acf"
3. Remove Plugin Configuration
   • Open Finder
   • Press Command+Shift+G
   • Enter path: ~/Library/Application Support/Louper/Plugins/
   • Press  Enter / Return
   • Delete the folder named "Avid Media Composer"
4. Remove Framework
   • Open Finder
   • Press Command+Shift+G
   • Enter path: /Library/Application Support/Louper
   • Press  Enter / Return
   • Delete the file named "GStreamer.framework"

caution

Removing these folders/files may affect the performance of any other Louper apps or plugins you have installed, please do not remove these items if you still intend to use other Louper apps.

Uninstall Louper StreamConnect

macOS

To remove Louper StreamConnect from your Mac:

• Delete the app from your Applications folder
