For playback in Rooms, links and in the dashboard, all video files uploaded to Louper are transcoded to H264 .mp4 files. To speed up the processing time of your uploads, you can export your videos as .mp4 files using the H264 video codec (8-bit 4:2:0), and AAC audio, with a bitrate not exceeding 8Mbps for 1080p files and not exceeding 20Mbps for UHD files.
When downloading files from Louper, the original uploaded file will be downloaded, not the transcoded playback version.
