Configure encoder

1. Connect your SDI or HDMI source to your encoder
2. Adjust the encoder's output resolution, audio settings and bitrate as required. We recommend starting with a bitrate of 2500 kbps.

Note that in order to work with Louper, the stream you send must use the H264 codec and have B-frames set to 0 with a Keyframe Interval of 2 seconds or lower. Many encoders have B-frames set to zero by default. If in doubt, refer to your encoder's operating instructions.

Bitrate controls the quality of your stream. The higher the bitrate, the higher the quality, and the more bandwidth is required to send the stream and to view the stream. Learn more
