Set resolution and framerate

The default settings in LDE are 1080p video at 25fps with stereo audio. We recommend setting the resolution and framerate in LDE to match the content you are streaming:

  1. In LDE, click Settings to open the Video & Audio settings panel
  2. Set the Source Resolution to match the resolution of your content
  3. Set the Output Resolution to the resolution you would like to stream at (1080p or lower is recommended for best performance and end client playback)
  4. Set the FPS to match the framerate of your content

Whilst it is possible that streamed content will "look correct" if you set the FPS to higher than your source content, we do not recommend exceeding a setting of 30 FPS unless you are actually working with high framerate content.
