Add an NDI source

In the Sources panel in LDE:

  1. Click the + button at the bottom of the sources panel and select NDI Source
  2. In the Source name dropdown, ensure that the selected NDI feed is from Avid Media Composer

If you’re using macOS Sequoia 15 or later, you may need to enable Local Network permissions for Avid Media Composer so that LDE can detect your NDI source.

To enable Local Network permissions for Avid Media Composer:

  1. Make sure Avid Media Composer is closed
  2. Go to System System Settings › Privacy & Security › Local Network
  3. Find Avid Media Composer and turn the toggle on
  4. Open Avid Media Composer and enable NDI
  5. Open LDE and add the NDI Source
