Create a Pro Tools Scene
In the Scenes panel in LDE:
- Select the scene you would like to edit, or create a new scene by clicking the
+
button. - You can edit the Scene’s name by right-clicking the scene and choosing
Rename
Add your Pro Tools Audio Bridge as the audio source
In the Sources panel in LDE:
- Click the
+
button at the bottom of the sources panel and selectAudio Source
- From the Device dropdown, select your chosen
Pro Tools Audio Bridge
(2A or 2B) - Click
OK
If you are working with a third party software like Source Nexus, you will see the plugin as an option in the Device dropdown for your Audio Source.
Add a screen capture of your video player as the video source
In the Sources panel in LDE:
- Click the
+
button at the bottom of the sources panel and selectScreen Capture
- From the Method dropdown, select
Window Capture
- From the Window Capture dropdown, select
Avid Video Engine
- To adjust the framing, select the video, hold down the Option key drag the red handles to crop the edges of the video
- Click
OK
If your video is full screen on a separate monitor, you can select Display Capture
from the the Method dropdown, and choose your external monitor from the Display drop down. Keep in mind that closing Pro Tools while streaming this source will result in your desktop or applications on that external screen becoming visible to your participants in the Louper room.
Adjust audio offset, if necessary
There shouldn’t be any sync-drift using this method. However, if you feel you need to adjust the sync, you can do this by following these Audio Offset instructions.
