Audio Distortion

If you are hearing distorted or clipped audio in your stream, first make sure that the distortion is not occuring in the source before it reaches your encoder.

If the distortion is not present in the source but is present in your stream, the most likely cause is your encoder:

  • if you are using LDE, lower the volume of the distorted source in the Audio Mixer panel
  • if you are not using LDE, lower the volume of the distorted source / feed in your hardware or software encoder settings
