Share room using Custom Links

Custom links can be used to generate multiple links that all point to the same room. Additonally, you can schedule the validity of custom links. This is useful when you reuse a room across different groups of clients and want to share a unique room link with each group.

  1. Open your dashboard at app.louper.io
  2. Find the room you want to share and click the Share button.
  3. Select the Custom Links tab.
  4. Click the Create Custom Link button.
  5. Enter a label for the custom link, for example "Project A".
  6. Turn on the Passphrase toggle to enable passphrase protection for the custom link (optional).
  7. Turn on the Scheduled toggle to schedule the validity of the custom link (optional):
    • Click the input next to "Link valid from" and select a date and time at which the custom link should become valid.
    • Click the input next to "Link expires on" and select a date and time at which the custom link should expire
  8. Click Save
  9. Click the Copy Link Only button or the Copy Invitation button and share with your team via email, text, Slack etc.
caution

A single room can be accessed from multiple custom links simultaneously. Make sure to schedule the validity of custom links, or delete a custom link to invalidate it when it is no longer needed.

  1. Open your dashboard at app.louper.io
  2. Find the desired room and click the Share button.
  3. Select the Custom Links tab.
  4. Find the custom link you want to edit or delete.
  5. Click the three-dots button, then in the dropdown menu:
    • Click Edit to edit settings, or
    • Click Delete to delete the custom link.
